Wanderer 50W Folding Solar Blanket

Ideal for camping and caravanning, the Wanderer 50W Foldable Solar Blanket has you covered. The kit includes a 5m lead and 90cm cable with alligator clips, and the design allows the panels to be folded and secured for easy transportation and storage. To optimise performance, ensure the panels are perpendicular to the direction of the sun to capture the maximum amount of energy.

The solar cells are attached to a flexible cloth so that you can set it up anywhere. You can drape it over your car, off the side of your caravan awning, or just spread it out across the ground to soak up some rays. When the sun goes down, and it’s time to get going, just fold it up into the compact carry bag for easy portability.

The 50W Solar Blanket comes with a 10A MPPT regulator. MPPT stands for Maximum Power Point Tracking and is the most efficient method of regulating solar. An MPPT solar controller sweeps through your solar panel voltage to find the best combination of voltage and current to produce maximum power. It allows your panel to operate at its maximum power point and in turn generates much more power than a panel connected to a PWM controller.

The 50W XTM Solar Blanket is compatible to be used with sealed, gel and flooded batteries.
